Eraldine Williams-Shakespeare

Eraldine Williams-Shakespeare is pursuing a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction – Instructional Technology. She is a Graduate Instructional Assistant in the Florida Centre for Instructional Technology with responsibility for supporting Faculty with online course design and development. She holds a B.Ed in Technical Teacher Education from the University of Technology, Jamaica and a MA in Open Distance and Flexible Learning from the University of London – External College. Eraldine has experience in Administrative Management, Training and has lectured at the tertiary level for over seven years. Her research interests are online and distance learning and the integration of emerging technologies in traditional classroom contexts.

Gianina "Nina" Hayes

Gianina S. Hayes is a doctoral candidate majoring in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Adult Education at the University of South Florida. She also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (Media Management). Her research interests are adult education in the medical field and orphan diseases.

Allison Papke

Allison Papke is earning her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Literacy Studies. She is a graduate assistant for Promethean technology and works with preschool and elementary teachers and resident students who are using Promethean technology in their classrooms. She earned her BA in Varying Exceptionalities, Special Education and her MA in Reading from USF. Allison has six years of experience teaching middle school science, middle school technology, and high school remedial reading as well as acting as tech specialist for grades K-10. Some of her favorites: Mac, iMovie, GarageBand, and Promethean technology.

Ora D Tanner

Ora D Tanner is earning her PhD in Instructional Technology with a concentration in Measurement. She is a research assistant for the K-12 Math and Science Partnership (MSP) grant and a part of the iteach Lounge staff. She earned her B.S. in Physics from Dillard University of New Orleans and an M.S. in Physics here at USF. Ora has 13 years teaching experience including Early Childhood Education, Elementary, Middle School/High School Science, and teaching Hybrid College Astronomy courses. Some of her areas of expertise are: Canvas, certified SMARTBoard Trainer, Web 2.0 applications, ePortfolios, instructional design, and curriculum development. Her research interests include game-based science learning, game-based assessment, professional development of teachers in technology integration, and educational technology research.

Eric Chase

Eric Chase recently graduated from USF with High Honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences with concentrations in history and geography. He has also completed the College of Education core classes and can assist students with projects and assignments in those classes. Eric is always ready to help out anyone who comes to the iTeach Lounge. Eric can assist you with Evernote, iMovie, Keynote, and PowerPoint as well as many other laptop related issues.

Beth Jordan

Beth Jordan is a doctoral candidate in the Instructional Technology program. She is the graduate assistant for the iteach program. She earned her B.S in Elementary Education here at USF and an M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University. With twelve years experience teaching primary grades, Beth's expertise is in integrating technology in the elementary classroom. Some of her favorites: digital storytelling, internet research, desktop publishing, and multimedia presentations.

BJ Bryant

BJ is a doctoral candidate in the Adult Education program at the University of South Florida. He is a highly skilled videograher and presents workshops on iMovie, Final Cut, and other video editing applications. BJ is an expert user of all versions of iLife and iWork, and is certified by Apple in iLife. He can also help you learn how to use interactive whiteboards in the classroom. BJ's research focuses on developing and teaching with accessible media with the use of ePub, ARIA, and HTML5 standards. BJ has earned a M. Ed. in Instructional Technology from USF and a B.A. in Electronic Media Art and Technology from the University of Tampa.

Luis Perez, Ph.D.

Dr. Luis Perez, in the Department of Special Education, research focuses on the experiences of graduate students with visual disabilities, and he has expertise in qualitative research methods, Universal Design for Learning, mobile learning with iPads, podcasting/screencasting and assistive technology. Luis has been a part of the Lounge staff since 2005, and he was the main content creator for TechEase 4 All, a website focusing on assistive technologies. In 2009, Luis was recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator, and he is certified in both iLife and iWork.

Jon Marsley

Jon Marsley graduated with a B.A. in English and American Literature from USF and is currently enrolled in the M.A.T. program for Elementary Education. He is an active member of SCATT and the iTeach program. He has worked extensively with digital photography, iPad /iPhone applications, music recording and production, and multimedia presentations. He can help with most PC related issues and is willing to sit down and answer any questions you may have relating to technology.

Gerard Sukhram

Gerard Sukhram is a currently seeking his Masters in the Art of Teaching from USF. He is an aspiring secondary Language Arts teacher who wishes to integrate technology in the classroom to expand student audiences in writing among other things. Gerard has experience working with iMovie, GarageBand, and other content creation programs for OS X and iOS but specializes in using wikis, blogs, and other collaborative learning tools to enhance the classroom experience.

Jennifer Hart

Jennifer is currently a doctoral candidate in the Instructional Technology program in the College of Education at USF. She is an iteach mentor, a certified Mimio trainer, and has experience with both Apple and Windows productivity software. Her passion is assisting both pre-service and in-service teachers in integrating technology, pedagogy, and content to enhance teaching and improve student achievement. She has a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and a B.S is in Elementary Education (1-6) with certifications in Primary Ed. (K-3), Educational Media Specialist (PK-12), Health (K-12) and Physical Education. (K-12).

Anna Worley

Anna Worley is a MAT student in the College of Elementary Education. In 2009 she graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication and a minor in Leadership. Anna spent the last few years working in Hospitality in Orlando, FL at Discovery Cove and various Hilton Hotels. During that time she studied American Sign Language and Deaf culture. Her goal is to get her master's in Education and acquire a job in the K-3 grade levels.
